In accordance with the goals and measures of the Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence in the Republic of Serbia, for the period 2020-2025. year, the Government of the Republic of Serbia provided the National Platform for Artificial Intelligence (AI platform).
The first National Platform for Artificial Intelligence in the State Data Center in Kragujevac is a last-generation, high-performance supercomputer with a computing density of 5 fifths of FLOPS, manufactured by NVIDIA, ready to process a huge amount of information in a short period of time.
The Office for Information Technologies and Electronic Government (hereinafter: ITE) signed agreements on the use of the first National Platform for artificial intelligence (hereinafter: AI platform) with science and technology parks from Belgrade, Novi Sad, Čačak and Niš in order to support the work of the parks on the implementation, improvement and spread of artificial intelligence in the Republic of Serbia, to support scientific and research work in the field of artificial intelligence, as well as to ensure the application of artificial intelligence in the industry of the Republic of Serbia.
Based on the agreement, ITE provides and allocates to science and technology parks
resources on the AI platform, along with the possibility for science and technology parks to share these resources with startups that are their members.
Application conditions
All startup companies (in accordance with the Law on Innovation Activities and Internal Acts of Science and Technology Parks) in majority Serbian ownership, not older than five years at the time of sending the application, have the right to participate.
It is necessary that the startup company, if it is not already an existing member of one of the science and technology parks, chooses a science and technology park to which it naturally aspires based on its headquarters and region/area, and in case of selection is obliged to become a member (full/virtual) of the selected science and technology park.
Preference in the selection goes to companies active in areas defined as priority in the Smart Specialization Strategy of the Republic of Serbia (4S).
Evaluation categories:
Number of years since establishment;
Number of employees;
Yes project in line with smart specialization;
Received investment/grant;
That the product is in the development and testing phase and has its first users;
Compliance of the project goal and needs with the resources offered.
Time frame and method of use:
Allocated resources on the AI platform can be used for up to three months, with the possibility of extending the specified period if the user (startup) has a real need for it. Startups that are selected will receive all the help to work on the AI platform from the Admin team of the National Platform.

Applications are submitted via e-form application until 15.09.2023. year. All elements in the e-form are mandatory and only complete and timely applications will be considered.
