
The first publication of the ISTER project "Practical guide for stakeholder mapping" presents a methodology for identifying and mapping institutions, organizations, associations, individuals and other stakeholders who represent potentially key actors in the process of protection and valorization of Roman cultural heritage in the territories of the participating countries of the ISTER project, which is implemented within the Transnational Danube Program.
The guide provides insight into the process of identifying and mapping stakeholders from different thematic fields and geographical areas, gathered within the project into multi-level stakeholder groups made up of organizations and individuals with different expertise and power levels, whose knowledge and influence at the local/regional/national level represents a valuable asset for understanding and shaping strategic tools for the protection and valorization of Roman cultural heritage. strategic connections that can be established between them in order to the best results were achieved.
The ultimate goal of the guide is to translate the entire stakeholder mapping process into an easy-to-follow, step-by-step manual for use in future mapping of potential actors at the local and regional level, building the capacity of territorial project partners and establishing working groups to support the various phases of the ISTER project implementation.
