The City of Belgrade announced public calls for subsidies to agricultural producers

The city of Belgrade has announced five public calls for subsidies to agricultural producers, and 240 million dinars, or two million euros, have been set aside for these purposes this year, said Acting City Secretary for Agriculture Savo Pavičić.

Farmers can apply for public calls from today, and almost all types of agricultural production are covered. It is about five public calls - 100 million dinars will be earmarked for the purchase of machinery, i.e. agricultural tractors, then 30 million for attachment machines, 35 million for beekeeping, 30 million for cattle breeding, and this so that farmers will be able to purchase, for example, up to three heifers or a minimum of ten sheep. When it comes to fruit and vegetable growing, 45 million dinars are being invested in these areas this year. The funds are intended for the purchase of anti-hail nets, greenhouses, irrigation systems, pruning shears - specified Pavičić.

He pointed out that this year the City of Belgrade has significantly increased funds for the program of incentive measures intended for agricultural producers, noting that last year it was a sum of 180 million dinars, and this year 240 million dinars, i.e. two million euros, have been allocated.

Pavičić emphasized that agricultural producers can find out about the conditions of the competition on the official website of the City of Belgrade in the section of the website called "City ads, competitions and tenders".
