The second webinar "GUIDE FOR EXPORTING FRUITS AND VEGETABLES TO THE MIDDLE EAST MARKET - UAE AND SAUDI ARABIA"

Due to the great interest caused by the first webinar "Guide for exporting fresh fruits and vegetables to the Middle East market - United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia", a webinar with the same topic will be held for the second time, on September 14 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. on the Zoom platform.In cooperation with the Development Agency of Serbia, Organization Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), on September 14, are organizing a second webinar dedicated to topics related to the export of fresh fruits and vegetables to the UAE and Saudi Arabian markets.As fast-growing, stable markets with high demand and consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia represent markets with significant export potential for producers and exporters of fruits and vegetables from region. These markets represent not only large importers of food for their needs with 90% of the food they procure from imports, but also entry markets through which further exports to other countries of the region are realized.Panel participants will have the opportunity to hear from experts in the field of export and placement on the Middle East market all current information about the food market in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, trends, perspectives of online sales, as well as to receive useful tips for retail design. packaging and learn about the key steps in the process of exporting fresh fruits and vegetables. After the presentation, there will be time to ask questions and discuss the topic of fruit and vegetable exports to this market.The webinar is organized within the framework of the project of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) entitled "Support to the diversification of exports of the agricultural and food sector of the Western Balkans and Eastern Europe", which is aimed at providing support to domestic companies in accessing new markets and strengthening the competitiveness of the agricultural and food sector.
