
The second IPLE meeting within the project was held in Warsaw on 24-25 February 2026 WOMEX,implemented through the Interreg Europe programme.
In front of the Belgrade Regional Agency for Development and European Integration (RAREI), Sonja Manojlović attended the meeting, together with representatives of the City of Belgrade, as key stakeholders of the project.
During the IPLE meeting, the partners exchanged experiences on instruments and policies with which regions can improve the position of women entrepreneurs and strengthen their competitiveness in the international market, with a special focus on systemic solutions and institutional support mechanisms.
The European Investment Bank (EIB) instruments aimed at women in entrepreneurship were also presented, with an emphasis on financial mechanisms that promote sustainable growth and internationalization of business.
Within the panel discussion on business success factors, key competencies were singled out courage, flexibility and a developmental mindset, recognized as the basis for long-term resilience and competitiveness in the international market.
The program of the meeting also included a visit to the Marie Skłodowska Curie Museum, dedicated to Marie Skłodowska Curie, a two-time Nobel Prize winner.
