The good results of the Employment Council challenge to be even better this year

This year, the Employment Council is planning a series of new measures and activities in order to support young people who want to start their own business, it was said at today's press conference in the Old Palace.
Council president and member of the City Council Dragomir Petronijević said that a large employment fair will be organized this year, which will be held on April 18. and medium enterprises. We will visit all peripheral and urban municipalities that have peripheral parts such as Voždovac, Zemun, Palilula, Čukarica. Wherever there is agricultural land, we go with concrete programs and offer them training, writing projects so that they are ready for the end of 2016 and the beginning of 2017, when they will be able to receive funds from IPARD. We do not want it to happen that funds are available and there are no projects. I appeal to all people who want to enter agriculture or are already engaged in it to join together, create clusters, cooperatives because that way they will be able to get funds more easily and be able to appear on the market with larger quantities of goods and thus be more competitive - Petronijević pointed out. 1,000 jobs".

- The Development Fund is back with its start-up loans, as is the National Employment Service with grants. All the trainings we conducted and the specific subsidies we gave to businessmen produced results. We have more than 98 open companies in the last year, and we are proud of the fact that they used our services and went through our programs - Petronijević emphasized and added that serious results were achieved in 2015, and that the challenge now is to make them better this year.

Secretary for the Economy Tijana Maljković stated that this year there are new subsidies for female entrepreneurship in the amount of five million dinars, and that it is expected that more than ten persons and ten economic entities will receive funds.

- We have a new subsidy when it comes to innovative activities for 20 start-up companies. We doubled the funds for agriculture, last year it was 20 million dinars, and this year it was 40 million, and we have a subsidy in the field of vegetable and fruit growing with an irrigation system, anti-hail nets, training in beekeeping and organic production. In tourism, last year the subsidy for events proved to be good, so this year we will repeat it, and we also have a new subsidy for a new tourist product that will be offered on the territory of the city. We will have workshops "Knowledge to the goal", "Information to the goal" in the first two weeks of March, and something completely new is the Women's Entrepreneurship Fair, which will be organized on March 15 in Kolarac. We will also organize Belgrade investment days, as well as a large number of round tables with representatives of tourism, agriculture, old crafts and hospitality associations - explained Tijana Maljković.
