General Secretary of the Chamber of Italian-Serbian Businessmen, Oliver Lepori, met today in Belgrade with the Secretary of the Economy of Belgrade, Aleksandar Milošević, the director of the Regional Development Agency of Belgrade, Nikola Vučeljić and his colleagues.
The topic of the meeting was the improvement of cooperation and the institutional framework to support the development of Belgrade. The participants of the meeting discussed specific activities to support the development of the capital city, measures to support Italian businessmen who are already operating in Belgrade, and plans for additional improvement of the business environment as well as support for interested companies from Italy.
General Secretary Lepori presented to the attendees that at this moment over 600 Italian companies are already operating in Serbia and informed the attendees of the main trends and interests of Italian companies that are interested in doing business on the market. Serbia.
Director of RRA Vučeljić emphasized the importance of familiarizing Italian businessmen with the biggest projects and development plans of the Belgrade region, as well as the interest in cooperation with the Chamber of Italian-Serbian Businessmen and Italian institutions on international development projects, while the Secretary for Economy Milošević, for his part, emphasized the importance of adequate and timely presentation of the possibilities of public-private partnerships as well as the investment potential of the city of Belgrade to potential Italian investors and companies.
Those present expressed firm determination for further cooperation and at the meeting, it was agreed that this cooperation should be made concrete through a joint action plan, which should be fully defined by the middle of June
