The Development Agency of Serbia (RAS), in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), in accordance with the COVID-19 situation, digitized the training of mentors for the needs of the project "Establishment and promotion of mentoring services for MSMEs in the Western Balkans, phase 2", which has been implemented since 2018 in Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia.
All trainings within the Project realized, until further notice it will be held ONLINE.
Thanks to the Zoom application, a training session for trainers from accredited regional development agencies was successfully held yesterday, all with the aim of using tools for future online trainings as efficiently as possible. The training was also attended by members of the RAS team for the implementation of the Project, and the mentor trainers showed not only that they are ready for new communication tools, but also that they have numerous ideas on how to make the online training of new mentors as productive and efficient as possible.
Already next week, the mentor trainers from Serbia will start training new mentors involved in the projects of partner institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Montenegro on the Zoom platform. As long as the health situation is not stable within this Project, online trainings will be held between Japan and Serbia, where mentors from Serbia will also receive online training from Japanese experts.
The interest in free mentoring for MSMEs in the countries of the Western Balkans is increasing year by year, and the transition to ONLINE training of mentors shows the quality of the Project and the willingness of all mentors to respond to every challenge and find the best solution for its success.
