DI-MARC final conference in the National Assembly: results, experiences and recommendations for inclusive policies

Belgrade, September 25, 2025 — The final conference of the DI-MARC project - Digital Marketing Capacity Building - Empowering Persons with Physical Disabilities for Remote Work was held in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia (small hall).

The conference was opened by prof. Ivana Domazet, Ph.D. (Institute of Economic Sciences), followed by the speeches of state secretaries and officials: Olivera Jovović (Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs), prof. Dr. Rejhan Kurtović (Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue), Milice Perić (Ministry of Family Care and Demography), Andree Horvat Kiralj (Ministry of Economy), prof. Dr. Rastislav Stojsavljević (Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation), Neda Milanović (NES) and Guillaume Emera (Directorate for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, European Commission).

In the working part, the goals, methodology and results of the project were presented, including the development of curriculum and materials, implementation of training and mentoring. Presentations were made by Vladimir Simović, coordinator of the DI-MARC project (Institute of Economic Sciences), Ljiljana Marković (Regional Agency for Development and European Integration Belgrade), Anđela Đokić (MAMM), Milan Peterka (CZP Osijek) and Milena Lazić (IEN).

The panel discussion "DI-MARC experiences of PWD associations and training participants" presented practical insights through the presentations of Gordana Pusara (UOSI Belgrade), Marija Šimatović (JAGLAC, Croatia), Bojan Đorović (UMHCG, Montenegro), as well as participants of the mentoring program, who spoke about the availability of materials and the applicability of knowledge.

In the final part, the participants of the online training were presented with certificates, and Vladimir Simović presented recommendations for the creation of inclusive public policies in the field of employment of persons with disabilities.
