The Regional Agency for Economic Development and European Integration Belgrade (RAREI Belgrade) continued implementing activities for the project from May to October 2026 [[nt]]CAMPUS – Digital Campuses for European Resilience[[/nt]], which is being carried out through the [[nt]]Interreg Europe program.[[/nt]]
Over the past six months, activities have focused on international cooperation, the exchange of experience and best practices, project promotion, and capacity building in the fields of digital resilience and cybersecurity.
The third partner meeting for the [[nt]]CAMPUS[[/nt]] project was held on September 22–23, 2026, in Tampere, Finland. During the meeting, project partners exchanged experiences, reviewed progress to date, and discussed upcoming project activities. The meeting served as an opportunity to continue collaboration between partner organizations and share expertise on strengthening the digital resilience of European regions.
The [[nt]]CAMPUS[[/nt]] project was presented on June 4, 2026, during a study visit by 19 students and researchers from the Faculty of Information Studies in Novo Mesto (Slovenia) to the Regional Agency for Economic Development and European Integration Belgrade. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the project's goals and the activities being implemented in the areas of digital resilience and cybersecurity.
A representative of the project team participated on September 24, 2026, in the workshop [[nt]]“Strengthening Serbian Innovation Intermediaries for Interregional Collaboration”[[/nt]], which was dedicated to strengthening the capacity of organizations for interregional cooperation.
In addition, a project team representative participated on October 20, 2026, in a webinar organized as part of the [[nt]]Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform[[/nt]], which focused on involving citizens in shaping public policy and exchanging experiences between European regions.
The first edition of the CAMPUS project newsletter was published recently, providing an overview of the most important activities, results, and experiences of project partners from seven European countries. The newsletter offers insight into the project's progress to date and the activities that partner organizations are implementing to strengthen digital resilience.
As part of the [[nt]]CAMPUS project, on the platform [[nt]]Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform[[/nt]] a best practice example from Serbia has been presented under the name [[nt]]“201! Hackathon: Cybersecurity Innovation for Balkan SMEs”.[[/nt]]
This example relates to the development of innovative cybersecurity solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises and contributes to the exchange of experiences and approaches for improving digital resilience.
More information about the project and its activities is available on the official CAMPUS project website.
