The Development Agency of Serbia, in partnership with JICA, gathered mentors from all over the country at the "All Mentor Meeting" event in Belgrade
The focus was on strengthening the quality of mentoring, applying international experiences and presenting new materials
Belgrade, December 16, 2025 - Team for the implementation of standardized mentoring services from the Development Agency of Serbia (RAS), in cooperation with the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA), this year again organized the "All Mentor Meeting" in Belgrade - an event that brings together mentors from all regional agencies in Serbia.
The beginning of the event was marked by the opening speeches of Yamashita Chigiru, director of the JICA Balkan Office, Šinicir Kata, JICA expert for projects in the field of small and medium enterprises, as well as Ana Žegarac, project manager from Development agencies of Serbia, who emphasized the importance continuous improvement of mentors and exchange of knowledge as a basis for quality support for companies.
In the continuation of the event, the audience was addressed by Dragana Belenzda, a mentor from the Center for the Development of Jablanica and Pčinj Districts in Leskovac, and Milica Čukarić, a mentor from the Regional Agency for Economic Development of Šumadija and Pomoravlje - REDASP from Kragujevac, who shared their experiences, acquired skills and key lessons from the "Knowledge Co-Creation Program" training - Capacity Development on Provision of Mentoring Services", held in Japan. During their presentation, they showed how important the exchange of knowledge is and its contribution to the improvement of mentoring in Serbia.
At the end of the event, Žegarac presented new, improved mentoring materials that will be used from 2026. In addition, she once again presented the criteria and conditions for the renewal of certificates for mentors certified in the period from 2008 to 2020, emphasizing the importance of preserving quality and professional standards in the mentoring network.
