ADRISKY: Overview of RAREI Belgrade activities for the period March–August 2026.

During the period of March–August 2026, the Regional Development Agency for European Integration Belgrade continued ADRISKY – Advancing Light Pollution Mitigation for Biodiversity and Nocturnal Habitats Conservation in the Adriatic-Ionian Region[[/nt]] project activities.

One of the key activities was organizing a meeting of the [[nt]]ADRISKY[[/nt]] project partners, held on March 30–31, 2026, in Belgrade. The meeting brought together all nine project partners and representatives of the Project Steering Committee to exchange information on project progress, coordinate activities, and agree on next steps.

As part of the efforts focused on knowledge exchange and dissemination, the [[nt]]ADRISKY[[/nt]] project was presented on June 4, 2026, to students and researchers from the Faculty of Information Studies in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. Participants were introduced to the project's goals, the partner consortium, and activities aimed at reducing light pollution and preserving biodiversity in the Adriatic-Ionian region.

A significant portion of RAREI Belgrade's activities during this period was focused on developing public policies regarding light pollution. Intensive work was carried out on preparing Territorial Action Plan for the City of Belgrade, as well as the [[nt]]Pilot Action Plan[[/nt]], which serve as the foundation for defining priority areas of action, developing sustainable measures, and preparing recommendations for improving public policies in this field.

In the coming period, we have planned the implementation of activities at selected locations, the continued exchange of experience and knowledge with project partners, as well as further public outreach and project promotion.

Through the implementation of these activities, RAREI Belgrade continues to contribute to the development of a systemic approach to reducing light pollution and creating the foundation for more sustainable artificial lighting management in the Belgrade area.
